More than 240 Airmen from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., arrived in late February to support the deployment of B-2 Spirits as part of the continuous bomber presence at Andersen Air Force Base.
AFP and U.S. Marines plan for Balikatan 2010
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and U.S. Forces came together aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) for the final planning phase of exercise Balikatan 2010 (BK’10).
Bilateral training hones U.S., JASDF capabilities
U.S. and Japanese military aircraft joined to practice defending Okinawa from simulated enemies during joint bilateral training Feb. 22 through 26. The training involved a variety of aircraft flying simulated hostile scenarios aimed at training personnel for joint planning and execution of missions.
