USS Essex Participates in Balikatan 2010(0)
The forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) began participating in exercise Balikatan 2010 (BK 10) in the Republic of the Philippines and its surrounding waters.
Marines refresh warfighter skills at training exercises in Djibouti
After spending several weeks cramped on ships transiting the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Suez Canal, and Red Sea, Marines of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit were anxious to get on dry land and start training to refresh their warfighting skills they worked on so hard to develop prior to deploying.
HMH-361 transports Marines to hills of Camp Pendleton
Four CH-53E “Super Stallions” from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 traveled to the grassy hills of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton to perform a troop transport of Marines from India Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment.
MARSOC seeks effective, intelligent warriors
The Marine Corps Special Operations Command Recruiting Team came to town knowing they had a tough job ahead of them.
