ISAF Forces Injured While Conducting Search Operations(0)

During a joint operation in western Afghanistan, initial reports indicate more than 25 ISAF and Afghan national security force members were wounded. Members of the joint force were searching for two missing U.S. Army soldiers.
Marines end wing-level operations in Iraq
On Nov. 2, 2009, 2nd MAW (Forward) ended MAW-level operations in Al Anbar by relinquishing the role as the Aviation Combat Element for Multi National Force - West to Marine Aircraft Group 26 (Reinforced) in a ceremony aboard Al Asad Air Base, Iraq.
