WHICH RIGHTS SHOULD RULE?

THE CONFLICT BEGINS
After a number of incidents, several states have been considering or passing legislation to protect people who have guns locked in the trunk of their cars from being fired if the car is parked in a parking lot of their place of employment. Many of these laws started out as a reaction to a 2002 incident where a dozen employees were fired after a search by drug-sniffing dogs found they had guns in the trunks of their cars.
