WHAT MARK KELLY DID NOT MENTION…
Kelly Denied Handgun Purchase Earlier
By Harold Hutchison
Gun-grabber Mark Kelly was initially denied an effort to purchase his M1911 pistol at a gun store in Tucson, Arizona. Apparently, the initial denial came when he attempted to use identification from Texas to buy the handgun.
According to a report from Breitbart.com’s Big Government, after the initial refusal, Kelly later presented an Arizona ID, and was able to purchase the pistol. Kelly later released video from a hidden camera, in an effort to show alleged inadequacies of background checks. However, Big Government noted that the video appeared to not only edit out the earlier failed purchase, but also the failed purchase of an AR-15, which the gun store owner decided not to make after Kelly’s statements in the media.
Kelly, whose wife, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, was shot in January, 2011 by a gunman, recently warned against a filibuster by Republican senators, lead by Rand Paul of Kentucky. His effort to purchase the guns was revealed when Breitbart.com received the video of the attempted purchases in early March.
