By Harold Hutchison

Dzhokar Tsarnaev was indicted on over thirty counts stemming from the 15 April bombing at the Boston Marathon, and for other attacks carried out in the days following. The charges include four counts of murder, and use of a weapon of mass destruction.

According to the indictment, Tsarnaev allegedly downloaded instructions on making bombs from an al-Qaeda online magazine, and scrawled anti-American slogans on the boat he was hiding in before he was captured. Tsarnaev’s brother, was killed during a shootout during the manhunt.
