At his swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, Guinea's new Prime Minister, Jean-Marie Dore, promised to restructure the army and hold elections.
Jean-Marie Dore assumed office as Guinea's new interim prime minister. Outgoing Prime Minister Kabine Komara spoke at the ceremony.
Mr. Komara asked his successor to consider restructuring Guinea's army. He also spoke of the need to hold free and fair elections and to address Guinea's unemployment.
