SOF Founder Believes War on Terror Spreading

By Harold Hutchison

Barack Obama is ignoring a growing terror threat, Robert K. Brown says, and is not doing enough to handle it. The comments came in an interview with Newsmax TV.

The first thing is that the bozo in the White House has to get his head out of a dark place and realize that we're still involved in a global war on terror, which has certainly not gone away and, quite to the contrary, appears to be spreading," RKB said. "We're just now realizing the fact that the challenges are even increasing throughout Africa and the Middle East, and Syria has turned into an incredible mess."

Brown also noted that the situation in Afghanistan is being plagued by an intractable problem. “You have Pakistan serving as a conduit and a safe area for the terrorists," RKB explained. "I don't know what's going to happen over there, but all I can say is it's not going to be good."

The Afghan government is not likely to be ready to fight the terrorists, either, and things will likely get worse before they get better. Much of this is due to the Obama Administration’s neglect of the war on terror.

“I have no magical solution, but the point is the threat is there and we certainly aren't going to solve the problem or even deal with it by ignoring it, and that's what appears is happening on the part of the administration at the present time,” RKB told Newsmax, adding that America needs to “make commitments with money and guns” to deal with the problem.

RKB did praise the use of UAVs to strike suspected terrorists, saying it is “an effective method for taking out targets that are considered to be threats.” RKB also said, “I'd hate to see civilians injured or even killed in conjunction with these drone strikes, but we've got to deal with these people and sometimes, unfortunately, there is collateral damage.”

RKB’s memoirs, I Am Soldier of Fortune, were released on 30 July, and are available for purchase at the SOF store. To buy, click here.
