Pro-Qaddafi forces have intensified air strikes against positions held by rebels. The strikes have continued as NATO continues its debate over what to do.
Meanwhile, Libyan media and anti-government rebels have issued conflicting claims regarding the oil town of Brega. Anti-government forces claim to still control the town, but Libyan state media claimed that the town was in pro-Qaddafi forces' hands.
The Libyan opposition has indicated it will ask Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for a UN Security Council resolution authorizing UN forces in Libya.
On Saturday, the Arab League voted unanimously to support a no-fly zone over Libya.
