It finally happened. I got inside the bowels of SureFire for the best part
of an afternoon to see what new products they had as well as how the operation was run. Andy Stafford, a SOF convention regular, had invited me out a year ago, but the stars said no.
As it was, by the time we had pinched, prodded, shook, and photographed through a couple of divisions, it was too late to check out SureFire’s snuffers or knives. Oh, well, next time.
SOF did, however, get to chat with John Matthews, the founder and present CEO of the innovative SureFire. And let me tell you, John runs the company. I mean “runs” it. “By the time we had checked out some of the latest toys, it was too late to check out SureFire’s snuffers or knives. ”That’s what happens when you have limited time to spend at a company who's operations are actually in country.”
One of the aspects that John is most proud of is that nearly 99 percent of all his products are made in the good ole U.S. of A. Right on, John! We’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story.
