NRA SLAMMED OVER ENDORSEMENTS
At RedState.com, conservative activists have criticized the National Rifle Association over its "friendly incumbent" policy - which has resulted in a number of embattled Democrats getting endorsements due to their pro-gun voting records. However, the NRA's friendly-incumbent policy may be a wise move, as likely successors to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who was not endorsed over his support for anti-gun Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, would be anti-gun zealots Charles Schumer and Richard Durbin.

TERRORISM IS NOT A COMMON CRIME
In an op-ed in the Washington Post, Marc Theissen ripped the Obama Admministration Justice Department's handling of the trial of Ahmed Ghailani, believed to have been a mastermind of the 1998 embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Thiessen, a vigorous defender of the George W. Bush Administration's conduct of the Global War on Terror, points out that under the laws of war, Ghailani culd be held indefinitely, and that a military comission would be a betetr venue to try senior al-Qaeda leaders.
CHICOMS AND TURKS GROW CLOSER
During the visit of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Communist China and Turkey reached several agreements on the economic front, with a goal of $100 billion in bilateral trade by 2020.
