Three Busy Days for ISAF

Forces under the command of ISAF captured six insurgent leaders over the last three days. The leaders captured were involved with the Taliban, Haqqani Network, and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. ISAF also confirmed that Wahidullah Khan, a Taliban leader in Kandahar province, was killed during operations over the weekend.
ISAF also reported that Afghan National Army Commandos from the 2nd Special Operations Kandak captured 28 insurgents during an operation in Logar province. Afghan Security Forces in Ghazni province killed 10 insurgents while supporting Afghan Local Police.
ISAF’s Regional Command East confirmed that over the last two days, forces under its command killed nine insurgents, captured two more, located one weapons cache, and disarmed 13 improvised explosive devices.
