Nevada Governor Targeted by Bloomberg
By Harold Hutchison
Nevada governor Brian Sandoval vetoed a gun-control bill that had been a priority of New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg. The legislation would have mandated “universal background checks” in the Silver State.
While Bloomberg dropped loads of money, grassroots Second Amendment supporters flooded a phone line to urge a veto. Sandoval stood with law-abiding gun owners despite criticism from Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader who has turned his back on the Second Amendment since the December shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Be sure to thank Governor Sandoval for defending law-abiding gun owners!
