See How Your Senators Voted!
By Harold Hutchison
On 17 April, a number of major votes were held regarding your Second Amendment Rights. Here, in one location, are links to each of the votes.
“Compromise” legislation on background checks initially supported by CCRKBA until Harry Reid refused to allow a vote on an amendment to restore funds for a program called “relief from disability” that allowed the restoration of gun rights.
This was the alternative offered, focusing on NICS improvements and mental health issues.
This amendment would have established national CCW reciprocity.
This was Feinstein’s expanded gun-grab, which involved a ban on so-called “assault weapons” and many standard-capacity magazines for pistols like the Glock, Beretta 92, and Springfield Armory’s XD, as well as rifles like the AR-15 and Springfield M1A.
A number of veterans have lost their gun rights because they needed help with their VA benefits. This amendment would have required a court order to deprive a veteran in that situation of their gun rights.
This was a stand-alone restriction on standard-capacity magazines for pistols like the Glock, Beretta 92, and Springfield Armory’s XD, as well as rifles like the AR-15 and Springfield M1A.
We have every right to celebrate yesterday’s victories. But you can bet that Barack Obama, Michael Bloomberg, Dianne Feinstein, and the rest of the gun-grabbers are going to gun for those who stood up for your Second Amendment rights.
