Shelters Openly Serve Illegals, Border Patrol Barred from Enforcing Law
By Harold Hutchison
Customs and Border Patrol agents are being prohibited from targeting shelters for illegals across the country – even when they are openly declaring that they are harboring those here illegally.
According to a report by Breitbart News, Stu Harris, the Vice President of Border Patrol Council’s Local 1929, has claimed that management at United States Customs and Border Patrol has ordered agents not to go onto the property of the El Paso Rescue Mission. The shelter is about a football field’s length away from the U.S.-Mexico border.
The report also noted that left-wing groups favoring amnesty and open borders are also trying to exploit provisions in immigration law involving asylum and survivors of human trafficking.
