Firm’s Client a State Department Whistleblower
By Harold Hutchison
A Dallas law firm representing a high-profile whistleblower has been hit by at least one break-in that was caught on surveillance cameras. The thieves stole three computers and broke into file cabinets – but left a number of other valuables, including bars of silver and video equipment.
The firm of Schulman & Mathias has been representing Aurelia Fedenisn, who claimed that the State Department has quashed investigations into misconduct that included sexual assault and soliciting prostitutes.
“It’s clear to me that it was somebody looking for information and not money. My most high-profile case right now is the Aurelia Fedenisn case, and I can’t think of any other case where someone would go to these great lengths to get our information,” Cary Schulman told Foreign Policy magazine.
