ISAF Also Captures A Taliban Commander

ISAF confirmed the deaths of a Taliban IED expert and a Taliban leader during operations in Afghanistan. ISAF also announced that a Taliban commander had been wounded and captured.
The unidentified Taliban commander’s capture came during an operation in Ghazni province. During the operation, one insurgent was killed. The Taliban commander was believed to have been involved in improvised explosive device attacks against Afghan and coalition forces, as well as executing a campaign of fear and intimidation against local citizens.
In Kunduz province, ISAF confirmed that Mushtaq, a Taliban IED expert, was killed in an operation. Mushtaq not only carried out IED attacks, he provided the devices to other insurgents.
ISAF also confirmed that Biragh, a Taliban leader in Helmand province, was killed during a separate operation. Biragh was involved in small arms and IED attacks against Afghan and coalition forces and also provided weapons to other insurgents.
