CSGV Activist Picked by Gov.-Elect
By Harold Hutchison
An activist with an extreme anti-Second Amendment group that has accused the National Rifle Association of promoting an “insurrectionist ideology” has been appointed to the transition team of Virginia governor-elect Terry McAuliffe.
According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, McAuliffe, who during the campaign declared his support for a gun-grabbing agenda along the lines of that pushed by outgoing New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, named Lori Haas, the Virginia State Director for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence as a member of the team.
The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence was originally called the National Coalition to Ban Handguns.
