Obama Administration Acquiesces to Taliban in Talks

The Obama Administration has been giving in to Taliban demands – including the group’s refusal to accept the Afghan constitution and renounce suicide attacks – in order to hold talks in Qatar. The preconditions had been announced in 2012 by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai has cut off security talks with the United States over the talks. The U.S. is currently slated to end operations in Afghanistan in 2014.
Over 100 Afghan diplomats have defected recently. Is Obama giving in to the Taliban and selling out Afghans who took risks to aid the United States in the fight against the Taliban and al-Qaeda?
