Supporters of Military, Morsi, Scuffle
By Harold Hutchison
Demonstrators supporting and opposing the military government in Egypt threw rocks at each other as competing protests collided. This is just the latest violence since the Egyptian military ousted Morsi on 3 July.
Since Morsi’s removal from power after a year in office, over 300 people have died in violence. The Moslem Brotherhood has been demanding Morsi return to power, while the Egyptian military is proceeding along with a plan for new elections.
According to a report at VOANews.com, the military is also moving to cordon off Moslem Brotherhood protest camps.
