Pictures of Wanted Terrorists Deemed Offensive
By Harold Hutchison
Is showing the photographs of wanted terrorists offensive to Muslims? According to Representative Jim McDermott (D-WA), the answer is yes, and he wants the FBI to take down the “Faces of Global Terrorism” ads.
Among those on the list are Ayman al-Zawahiri, who took over al-Qaeda after Osama bin Laden was killed, Abdul Rahman Yasin, who was involved in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, and Anas al-Liby, who was involved in the 1998 bombings of United States embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.
Is this just the latest case of political correctness affecting our ability to keep the country safe?
