Nine people were killed during violent clashes between Muslim Brotherhood supporters of ousted Egyptian President and opponents of the Islamist organization, with six dying near Cairo University. This puts the death toll at 14 over the last two days.
The clashes occurred near a camp where supporters of Morsi had been staying since the former Egyptian leader was ousted. The Muslim Brotherhood is now urging its supporters to lay siege to the American Embassy.
Over 100 people have died since Morsi’s removal from power, as violence shows no sign o abating. Elections are scheduled to take place in six months.
