A Chinese pianist who performed at the state dinner for Chinese President Hu Jintao last week chose an anti-American propaganda song from the Korean War. The song is "My Motherland" from a popular Chinese movie, Battle on Shangganling Mountain.
According to a report at TheEpochTimes.com, the choice was likely known to Chinese Communist Party officials in advance. The song refers to American forces in Korea as "jackals" who would be greeted by hunting rifles.
The performance is likely to be seen as a propaganda victory for the Chinese Communists. "In the eyes of all Chinese, this will not be seen as anything other than a big insult to the U.S.," Yang Jingduan told TheEpochTimes.com. The performance is reportedly part of a general pattern of Communist China trying to humiliate the United States.
