A VERY SOPHISTICATED BOLT ACTION: With a short 60° lift, the bolt incorporates a three rib design that runs the full length of the bolt. When unlocked, three guide ribs on the bolt align with the three locking lugs to allow the bolt to slide smoothly. When locked, these three lugs provide massive bolt strength. The bolt cams and feeds very smoothly, the bolt face is recessed, completely surrounding the cartridge, base using a Sako style ejector. A cocking indicator located at the rear of the bolt offers visual and tactile firing pin status.
BARREL: The barrel is free floating and bedded at the .250 recoil lug and front of receiver to maintain the proper spacing around the barrel for consistent accuracy. The recessed muzzle crown helps protect the 1:11 rifling, 24" fluted with the option of a threaded barrel for a comp or
TRIGGER: A two-piece firing group that provides very little creep with a crisper trigger pull. Spring adjustable pull rate and pre-set to approximately 3.5 lbs.
MAGAZINE: CDi floorplate with detachable box magazine makes it simple and fast to load a spare magazine.
MAGAZINE CAPACITY: Three in magazine, one in chamber. Standard calibers: Four in magazine, one in chamber, 223 Rem.
EXTRACTORS & EJECTORS: While much has been made of extractors and ejectors, our ejector is a free floating design that uses the inertia of the bolt instead of spring loaded. With this design, while shooting at the bench, the
spent round can be easily removed and while hunting the force of the bolt moving back will kick the round out with force. The Sako style extractor works in harmony with the free floating ejector for trouble free operation in any conditions.
SPECIAL BUT BASIC FEATURES: As for some basic features that are special, the picatinny scope mount bases allow for trouble free mounting of optics. A 60-degree camming bolt throw, three locking rear lug rib bolt with gas ports. Manners composite stock with CDi bottom metal, detachable box magazine.
