CBP Agents Overwhelmed at Mexican Border
By Harold Hutchison
Customs and Border Patrol agents are being overwhelmed by a flood of asylum claims coming at the Mexican Border. In one day, over 200 claims of asylum have come at a single border crossing.
According to reports by Breitbart News, the flood of applications came at a border crossing near San Diego, California. If the total continues, it could overwhelm the current system set up for those seeking asylum.
A second report notes that under the Obama Administration, the Department of Homeland Security has posted information that arguably allows people to claim they face a “credible fear” of being persecuted. Recently, a number of deported illegals used this to gain re-entry into the United States.
