Grateful Nation offers a unique look into what drives these soldiers to serve their country and to protect our freedoms. Far removed from the streets of Baghdad or the mountains of Afghanistan, the veteran feels the adrenaline rush that can only come from viewing big game through the crosshairs of your scope. GN takes each returning warrior deep into the woods on the best hunt of their lives.
Hosted by actor and veteran Tim Abell, each episode provides the viewer with an opportunity to spend time with these heroes and to hear each of their unique stories. Tim is no stranger to the readers of Soldier of Fortune magazine. A former member of the Army’s elite 75th Ranger Regiment, Tim lives the Ranger Creed in each endeavor and Grateful Nation shows how we all should “never leave a fallen comrade”.
Grateful Nation is an excellent show for every citizen, regardless of whether you are a hunter or active in the shooting sports. As you listen to these two warriors share their stories, you realize that this show is as much about healing as it is about hunting. Every citizen in this great Nation owes their freedom to those veterans who served their country and put our Nation before themselves. Grateful Nation has taken a big step in showing veterans our appreciation for their service, but it is up to each one of us to thank them individually. A “thank you,” a handshake, or just listening to their stories will go a long way in welcoming our men and women home.
With key sponsorship by Federal Premium and Berretta, Grateful Nation by Orion Multimedia will air on ESPN Outdoors in July.
