Who Will Decide What is “Inappropriate?”
By Harold Hutchison

Navy personnel are to carry out inspections of all work locations to confiscate any materials deemed “offensive.” The measure is part of a effort to deal with sexual assault in the military.

“All DON Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charge, and civilian directors shall direct comprehensive and regular inspections of all workplaces and common access spaces under their control,” a 13 June memo sent out reads. The material to be confiscated includes anything that has “inappropriate depictions and are detrimental to a professional working environment.”

Exactly who will determine what is and is not “inappropriate” is left unclear. Is this a legitimate part of preventing sexual assault, or is it just more Obama Administration PC?
