THE FIREFIGHT
A tragic event that has marred the lives and reputations of members of the United States forces has finally come to an end.

On 19 November, 2005, a Marine unit was hit by an improvised explosive device, killing one Marine and wounding
two others. Twenty-four Iraqis, 15 of whom were civilians, were killed in a firefight between Marines led by Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, and insurgents.
