DUMB GUN LAWS IN NEW YORK

From the perspective of a long time Second Amendment activist, I have been forced to conclude that New York has some of the most Draconian and dumb gun control laws. Admittedly, there is competition from California, Illinois, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. They also have some real dandies when it comes to ineffective and stupid laws involving firearms.

Ivory Coast's incumbent leader has been captured by French troops and fighters backing the country's internationally recognized president.

French military officials in Abidjan say incumbent leader Laurent Gbagbo was captured at the presidential compound in the Cocody neighborhood after helicopter gunships attacked the residence Monday morning.

U.S. forces help Iraqi Army complete training program

United States Division - South witnessed the culmination of a training iteration at Tadreeb al-Shamil during a ceremony near Nasiriyah, Iraq, March 30.

Iraqi Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 39th Brigade, 10th Iraqi Army Division, completed the 30-day training course, where they learned traditional infantry tactics, techniques and procedures. The training was capped off with a two-day, company-level field training exercise.
