CCRKBA, SAF reveal ‘real war on women’

If there is a war on women – as liberals alleged last year about conservatives during the election campaign cycle – it is part of a broader cultural war that discourages gun ownership and armed self-defense, a message that is delivered in a short new video announced today by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and its sister organization, the Second Amendment Foundation.

THREE INSURGENT LEADERS BITE THE DUST!

ISAF Whacks One Taliban, Two Haqqani Leaders

ISAF confirmed that one Taliban senior leader and two Haqqani leaders were killed during operations in Afghanistan over the last three days. The senior Taliban leader, Razaq, was kileld in Kandahar province. The Haqqani leaders, Abdullah and Faizullah, were killed in Logar and Paktiya provinces, respectively.

Forces under the command of ISAF’s Regional Command East reported killing 56 insurgents, capturing 15 more, located two weapons caches, and disarmed 26 IEDs.

Arms Trade Treaty Signed By Australia

The UN’s Arms Trade Treaty is open for signatures – and the Obama Administration is welcoming the development. Australia has almost immediately signed this treaty. In a statement, the State Department claims, “The ATT will not undermine the legitimate international trade in conventional weapons, interfere with national sovereignty, or infringe on the rights of American citizens, including our Second Amendment rights.”

Do you buy that argument, or will anti-gunners use this treaty to demand registration and gun bans?

Senator Frank Lautenberg, the oldest member of the U.S. Senate, passed away this morning from viral pneumonia, according to the Washington Post and other news agencies. He was 89.

Interviews with IRS Employees Point Finger At DC

Over the weekend, the House Oversight Committee released transcripts of interviews with IRS employees in Cincinnati who pointed the finger at IRS headquarters in Washington. The bombshell joins other revelations about the targeting of conservative groups by the Obama Administration.

One of those revelations included an effort to force donors to the group Freedom’s Watch to pay gift taxes. The group supported the Iraq surge that began in 2007.

8-Year-Old Suspended for Pop Tart Gun Gets Life Membership

The 8-year-old boy suspended for chewing a pastry into the shape of a gun received a lifetime NRA membership at a Republican party fundraiser in Maryland.

Joshua Welch’s suspension had drawn widespread criticism from conservatives like Rush Limbaugh and Mark Steyn.

The eight-year-old, who was seven at the time of the suspension, went back to playing games on a smart phone after receiving the certificate.

Obama to sign UN gun control Monday, says Breitbart

President Barack Obama will sign the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) on Monday, according to Breitbart.com, starting a week that will end with Friday’s deadline for public comment on proposed rulemaking regarding changes in the information that will be added to the National Instant Check System (NICS) in an effort to prevent mentally ill or incompetent people from legally buying guns.

JOINT OPERATION LEAVES 17 INSURGENTS DEAD

ISAF Captures More Insurgent Leaders and Facilitators

A joint ISAF-ANA operation in Paktiya province left 17 insurgents dead. The operation in the province’s Bernal district also resulted in the capture of one other insurgent, who was taken in for questioning. ISAF also reported that during operations over the last three days, two Taliban facilitators, a senior Taliban leader, and a Haqqani Network leader were captured.
