By Harold Hutchison

Barack Obama may be teaming up with Harry Reid to distract public attention from a number of scandals by picking a fight over packing the second-highest court in the country. Obama announced three nominations to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday.

Is Obama trying to distract people from the scandals rocking his Administration? Is his ultimate objective packing the courts? Or is he trying to kill two birds with one stone?

OBAMA PUNTS ON UN GUN GRAB!

Delays Signing Arms Trade Treaty
By Harold Hutchison

Barack Obama has not signed the Arms Trade Treaty, even as Secretary of State John Kerry indicated that the treaty would be signed despite bipartisan opposition. Kerry’s announcement comes as other countries race to sign the document. The treaty does not take effect until 50 countries ratify it.

“Ratification by the U.S. is a long-term strategy and it can take 10 to 15 years,” Adotei Akwei, managing director for governmental relations for Amnesty International, told Bloomberg News.

A painting was removed from Mountain Home Air Force Base’s dining hall within hours of a complaint filed by Mikey Weinstein. The quick action in response Weinstein’s complaint appears to belie Obama Administration denials of a relationship.

The "real war on women"

CCRKBA, SAF reveal ‘real war on women’

If there is a war on women – as liberals alleged last year about conservatives during the election campaign cycle – it is part of a broader cultural war that discourages gun ownership and armed self-defense, a message that is delivered in a short new video announced today by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and its sister organization, the Second Amendment Foundation.

OPEN FOR SIGNATURES

Arms Trade Treaty Signed By Australia
By Harold Hutchison

The UN’s Arms Trade Treaty is open for signatures – and the Obama Administration is welcoming the development. Australia has almost immediately signed this treaty. In a statement, the State Department claims, “The ATT will not undermine the legitimate international trade in conventional weapons, interfere with national sovereignty, or infringe on the rights of American citizens, including our Second Amendment rights.”

Do you buy that argument, or will anti-gunners use this treaty to demand registration and gun bans?
