COLD, DEAD HANDS

LYRICS:
From the time that I was 5 years old,
the way it was told to me,
The workingman built this land and fought to keep it free.
They knew we had to do what it took to keep our families safe.
Now you wanna throw it all away -- yeah!

Buddy if you try to take my rights you're in for one hell of a fight.
When it comes to my Constitution I'm a true believer.
You come to my house I'll tell you right now, I'll give you my gun,

JINSA Honors American Military Heroes

By Roger Aronoff
Accuracy in Media

Last month the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs held its annual event honoring six young military heroes for their bravery in the war on terrorism. The six represent each of the five branches of the U.S. military and the U.S. Special Operations Command. These Grateful Nation awards have been held since 2003, and I have been fortunate enough to attend just about all of them.

ARMED CITIZEN FOILS ROBBERY

Red Lobster Patron Proves Folly of Gun-Free Policies
By SOF

While the Bloomberg-funded stooges at Moms Demand Action have managed to persuade a number of businesses to prohibit firearms, even those carried by those with CCW permits, the Darden Group has not been one of them. That decision may have helped thwart an armed robbery at a Las Vegas Red Lobster.

RETIRING CONGRESSMAN: BLASTS CONGRESS: WE FAILED THE TROOPS

Rep. “Buck” McKeon Slams Congressional Failure to Support Military
By SOF

Most of the time, an outgoing Congressman’s farewell speech tends to be a flowery good-bye. Not in the case of the outgoing chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Howard “Buck” McKeon, who slammed Congress for failing to support the troops.

“Right now, they are walking patrol in the mountains of Afghanistan,” McKeon said in his speech on the House floor in which he slammed the effects that the sequestration cuts have had on the troops.

PURPLE HEARTS FOR FORT HOOD VICTIMS

Congress Acts To Recognize Troops Killed, Wounded in Domestic Terror Attacks
By SOF

Those who were killed and wounded during the 2009 terrorist attack at Fort Hood, as well as other domestic terrorist attacks, will now be recognized for their wounds under the upcoming National Defense Authorization Act that is headed for passage in Congress.

According to a report by the Washington Examiner, the legislation will formally designate the 5 November, 2009 attack as a terrorist attack. The Obama Administration has maintained that the attack was “workplace violence,” despite admissions from Nidal Hasan, the perpetrator of the attack that it was intended as an act of terrorism.

DAKTOA MEYER CALLS OUT ISLAMIC STATE

Medal of Honor Recipient Challenges Terrorist Scumbags
By SOF

The FBI has warned that the terrorist group that calls itself the Islamic State is trying to target American military personnel through social media accounts. For Dakota Meyer, so much the better.

“If ISIS is using social media to track me, that’s a dream come true in my book,” the Medal of Honor recipient is quoted as saying by the Washington Free Beacon. “Hopefully one of these assholes actually shows up,” he added. “They’ll definitely get more than they want at my place!”

ANOTHER CHICOM HYPERSONIC TEST

Wu-14 Designed For Nuclear Strike
By SOF

The Chinese Communists have conducted their third test of a hypersonic weapon this year – this time seeing the missile reach speeds of Mach 10. The test took place earlier this week.

According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, the test of the Wu-14 involved the use of a ballistic missile that took the missile to almost 7,700 miles per hour. At that speed, it would travel from New York to Los Angeles in roughly 20 minutes. One analyst noted that while the Wu-14 needs far more testing to become an operational system, the ChiComs are clearly serious about deploying such weapons.

FALLKNIVEN FOREST KNIFE

The Forest Knife is probably the best hunting and fishing knife ever made. Its sturdy blade made of the new extremely strong stainless laminate VG10 custom steel is convex grounded for extra strong cutting power with no risk for edge breakage. The modified clippoint design works well for penetrating purposes, the long curved edge is ideal for skinning. The blade is long enough for lighter chopping and won´t break, it´s a full 5 mm (0.2") thick!

THE SLIMY ATF STING

Agents Exploited Disabled People, Let Teens Smoke Pot
By Harold Hutchison

EXPLOITING THE DISABLED
Tony Bruner was way down in life. With an IQ in the high 50’s, he was classified as “extremely intellectually deficient.” According to reporting by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Bruner, who had a felony conviction on burglary charges, had difficulty holding down a job near Wichita, Kansas. He was getting pressure from his grandmother, with whom he was living, and his probation officer to locate employment.

Eventually, he was hired to work at a company called Bandit Trading. Hopefully, that would be the end of his trouble. The people at the company would buy him meals at McDonald’s, or give him items of clothing, cigarettes, or cash payments of $20–50, depending on what he brought to the store. However, unbeknown to him, the company was a front operated by undercover agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), and they would proceed to take advantage of the vulnerable Bruner.

Some elements of a rocket can be familiar, like the boosters and engines. But there are several important parts on NASA's new rocket, the Space Launch System (SLS), that may be less widely known. Case in point? The interim cryogenic propulsion stage (ICPS).
