Obama IRS Unleashed on Tea Party, Conservatives

The Internal Revenue Service harassed Tea Party and other conservative and libertarian groups going back as early as June 2009. The harassment campaign lead as many as 63% of the groups who had applied for 501(c)4 status to pull their applications, hampering the Tea Party’s ability to mobilize conservative voters in the 2012 election, which Barack Obama won narrowly.

The former acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service admitted that while many conservative groups were harassed by the agency, “progressive” groups were not similarly targeted. This revelation comes as the Treasury Department’s Inspector General admitted that senior Treasury officials knew of an investigation into IRS practices as early as June 2012.

Pro-Gun Candidate Defeats Bloomberg Mayor in Omaha

The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) congratulates City Councilman Jean Stothert for winning the highly contested Omaha mayoral race on Tuesday.

This election represents a great victory for the Second Amendment. NRA-PVF endorsed Jean Stothert defeated incumbent Mayor Jim Suttle, earning 57% of the popular vote compared to Suttle’s 42%.

Gunmen Attack Police Station; Airstrikes Launched Against Militants

Islamist gunmen attacked a bank and a police station in the northwestern part of Nigeria. The attacks occurred across the country from the strongholds of Boko Haram, in the northeastern part of the country.

The Nigerian government launches air strikes against Boko Haram’s camps, killing a number of insurgents. According to a report by VOA News, a number of other camps have been taken over. Boko Haram had also carried out a number of attacks, including one that killed 50 people in Bama.

Colorado sheriffs sue over gun laws!

Colo. sheriffs sue to overturn new state gun, magazine limit laws

This morning in Denver, 54 Colorado sheriffs and other plaintiffs including disabled gun owners, will file a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Centennial State’s new laws affecting sales and temporary transfer of firearms, and placing limits on magazine capacity.

RC-EAST FORCES WHACK 35 INSURGENTS!

Two Days of Ops Rack Up The Body Count

Forces under the command of ISAF’s Regional Command East killed 35 insurgents over the last two days. Thirteen of the insurgents were killed during a single firefight in Nangarhar province. RC-East forces also captured twelve insurgents, disarmed thirteen improvised explosive devices, and discovered a weapons cache.
