RC-EAST FORCES WHACK 35 INSURGENTS!

Two Days of Ops Rack Up The Body Count

Forces under the command of ISAF’s Regional Command East killed 35 insurgents over the last two days. Thirteen of the insurgents were killed during a single firefight in Nangarhar province. RC-East forces also captured twelve insurgents, disarmed thirteen improvised explosive devices, and discovered a weapons cache.

The IRS official in charge of the division where many Tea Party applications for non-profit status were kept in limbo and where many groups opposed to the Obama agenda were facing harassment, received $42,000 in bonuses.

While Tea Party groups faced very intrusive questions, a number of progressive groups breezed through the non-profit process, USA Today reported. The Daily Caller also noted that a foundation set up by Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik was granted retroactive tax-exempt status.

Today’s Seattle Times reports that the National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) wants to ratchet down on the legal limit for blood alcohol to reduce the number of fatal traffic accidents involving drunk drivers, leading some gun rights advocates to wonder why gun crime is treated differently.

Russians Claim Items Seized From US Diplomat

Russia has released a list of items that they claim were part of a spy kit seized from an American diplomat who was detained in Moscow, and who is being declared persona non grata. A second American diplomat is also being booted.

Among the items:
A map of Moscow; a pair of wigs; a cellphone; alkaline batteries, a compass, a flashlight, and a pepper gas canister.

Were these items part of a spy kit, or are the Russians now trying to gin up the evidence as they kick American diplomats out?

ISAF Wounds Second Taliban Leader

The International Security Assistance Force confirmed that Jalal, a mid-level Taliban leader, was killed during an operation in Kunduz province. Jalal was involved in improvised explosive device, rocket-propelled grenade and small-arms attacks against Afghan and coalition forces.
