Sharyl Attkisson, the CBS reporter who has been investigation Operation Fast & Furious, the botch ATF gun trafficking investigation that lead to the death of Customs and Border Protection agent Brian Terry, and the 11 September, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that left four Americans dead, has reported that her computers have been compromised.

Obama Administration Witch Hunt Targeted Fox News

In “leak investigations,” the Obama Administration targeted two reporters and one producer with Fox News Channel. In one case, a reporter was accused of being an “aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator” in the wake of a 11 June, 2009 report. The other case surrounded a reporter and producer who were investigating the scandal surrounding Operation Fast & Furious.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, has joined with 54 county sheriffs, Magpul Industries, the Colorado Outfitters Association, several firearms retailers, disabled individuals and other parties in a federal lawsuit brought in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado in what is a broad-based challenge to Colorado's recently enacted gun-control laws.

Forces under the command of ISAF captured two insurgent leaders during operations in Afghanistan over the weekend. The captures come in the wake of a 17 May insurgent attack that killed or wounded dozens of Afghan civilians.

Grassley blasts DOJ treatment of ‘Gunwalking’ whistleblower

Senator Charles Grassley, who launched the first Capitol Hill investigation of Operation Fast and Furious more than two years ago, today blasted the treatment of a chief whistleblower in the investigation by the former U.S. attorney in Arizona, and subsequent attempts to discredit him by the Justice Department.

Two HRT Members, SEAL Killed

Elite troops have often trained hard to maintain their edge. In the last week, some of those elite personnel have been killed in accidents.

Two members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) were killed during a training accident involving a helicopter in Virginia Beach. The two men, Special Agents Christopher Lorek and Stephen Shaw. Each FBI agent leaves behind a wife and two children.
