President Obama’s Attacks on Free Speech Opposed by Most Americans, Zogby/O’Leary Poll Finds

A majority of American voters view recent actions by President Barack Obama and Democratic leaders in Congress as threats to our First Amendment rights, according to a recent Zogby International/O’Leary Report Poll. Independents, Hispanics and small business owners are among the key voting blocs that disagree with the President’s moves to curtail free speech. The Poll surveyed 3,544 American voters on October 23-26 and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 1.7 perce

Rupert Murdoch, chairman of News Corporation, the parent company of Fox News, used his company's annual meeting on October 16 to announce the firing of Fox News contributor and O'Reilly Factor regular Marc Lamont Hill. This is the left-wing cop-killer apologist that we have written about for weeks. We called him the Van Jones of Fox News Channel. We said Fox News was as bad as Obama on the matter of background checks for their employees. Interestingly, both Van Jones and Marc Lamont Hill are public supporters of convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.

The law professor is former Communist terrorist Bernardine Dohrn, a leader of the Weather Underground known for praising mass murderer Charles Manson. Writer Peter Jamison, who is based in San Francisco, where the cop killing occurred, spent months working on the story and developed many different sources of information.
