Status Report on the Immigration Amnesty Bill
Many reasons why gun owners should be concerned

As you probably know, the immigration amnesty bill is on the Senate floor.

This is a status report on where we are, and we will attempt to give you regular follow-ups over the next two weeks.

For starters, why should gun owners care about immigration amnesty?

First: It will add up to a net 8.4 million anti-gun voters in the next 13 years or so. This could make comprehensive gun control and confiscation inevitable within our lifetimes.

Another 7,000 WA concealed carry licenses

New Wash. state CPL tally more than 7,000 higher than mid-May

More than 7,000 new concealed pistol licenses have been issued in Washington State since Examiner last checked with the Department of Licensing in mid-May, bringing the total to 433,223 as of Monday morning.

State Had Required Proof of Citizenship

Arizona’s law requiring proof of citizenship before being able to register to vote under the 1993 “Motor-Voter Law” was struck down by the Supreme Court on a 7-2 vote. The court rules that the federal law pre-empted state level provisions.

Only two justices, Clarence Thomas and Samual Alito, voted to uphold the law. Last year, another Arizona law seeking to combat illegal immigration was struck down by the Supreme Court.

The Chinese Communists are demanding that the United States explain why it has been carrying out surveillance of foreign internet traffic and millions of phone calls. The demand comes in the wake of revelations from self-proclaimed whistle-blower Edward Snowden.

The Chinese demands come in the wake of controversy over possible ChiCom involvement in cyberattacks on American networks. The ChiCom attacks are alleged to have also compromised major American weapons programs. The ChiComs have also denied that Snowden was spying for them.

CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson’s computer has been hacked on multiple occasions, the network announced. The announcement came after an investigation by a cyber-security firm.
