MCCAIN SIDES WITH MORSI
Senator Calls For Pulling Aid
By Harold Hutchison
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) has called for aid to be suspended to Egypt after Mohammed Morsi was removed from power by the Egyptian military. The call came as protests against the removal turned violent, and the death toll began climbing.
While fighting between the Egyptian Army and protestors left 51 people dead, there were other incidents of violence, including an incident where Islamist supporters waving an al-Qaeda banner tossed a 19-year-old who supported the ouster of Morsi off of a five-story building, killing him.
Morsi was removed from power on 3 July.
