KERRY CONFIRMED AS SECRETARY OF STATE

The United States Senate has confirmed Senator John F. Kerry as Secretary of State. The vote was 94-3.

Kerry's nomination cleared the Senate Foreign Relations Committee by a voice vote earlier today.

The three Senators who voted no:
James Inhofe (R-OK)
Ted Cruz (R-TX)
John Cornyn (R-TX)
