Rancher Claims Cartels Smuggling People From MidEast into Country
A rancher in southern Texas claims that Mexican drug cartels have taken control of the United States border and are helping people from across the world illegally enter the United States. The claim comes as reports indicate that the Islamic State is also taking interest in the border between the United States and Mexico.
According to the blog Gateway Pundit, Cuban “Rusty” Monsees, a rancher on the border with Mexico, said, “We get kids. We get adults. The cartel is bringing across, importing people from as far away as the Mediterranean. I’ve talked to agents and they picked up some characters from Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Syria… anything that you can think of these agents are having to deal with.”
A member of the group Oathkeepers, identified as Rob in the blog post cited by Gateway Pundit, reported that a number of terrorists are being apprehended on the border. Rob was quoted as saying that the captured individual were on the “United States terrorist wanted list [for acts against the United States] – not watch, but wanted list” and that CBP was “not allowed” to release information about such busts to the general public.
