House to Vote on Defunding Arizona Lawsuit and Cutting Foreign Workers

Printer Friendly VersionPrinter Friendly VersionSend to a FriendSend to a Friend

There will be some important Amendment votes to help stop illegal immigration and the flood of foreign workers, as well as other votes that will cut enforcement tonight or tomorrow morning. It is imperative that you let your congressman know where you stand.

Tell them to Vote Yes On:

* Amendment No. 199 by Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) to defund the Justice frivolous lawsuit against Arizona. This sends an important message that we stand with Arizona and against the Obama administration’s attempt to undermine our immigration laws.

* Amendment No. 225 by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) to stop the diversity visa lottery. Every year we give 50,000 permanent green cards out to people from across the world for no virtue other than the fact that they happened to sign up for a lottery. With tens of millions of Americans out of work, this is a complete outrage. This Amendment is a good first step at putting American workers first. ·

Tell them to Vote No On:

* Amendment No. 188 by Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO) which would cut the number of beds in detention centers for illegal aliens. This would effectively free thousands of criminal illegal aliens each year. ·

Act now to fight for the rule of law and the American worker. Call your congressman [call (202) 224-3121 for the Capitol Hill Operator at or click here for their direct line.]
