When Mark Vaughan, the Chief Operating Officer of Vaughan Foods went to work this past Thursday, he probably had no idea that a former employee of the company who had been let go would return, beheading one former co-worker, and attacking another. Vaughan, who stopped the attack with several shots from a pistol, may also have triggered a controversy.

Answer: In a holster. But what about the times that isn’t practical? Where do you keep it then? I’m talking about the everyday situations where you have to find somewhere else to put it.

As a police officer, I carry a gun for a living and have done so in uniform assignments as well as plain clothes and undercover details. As an informed citizen, I exercise my right to carry at all times, period. But there are those times when you have to put your handgun somewhere other than a holster. I’m going to cover a few of those times and how I deal with them.
