New developments in 'Bordergate'

Maybe Kerlikowske should duck Thursday hearing as well

Former Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske is schedule to testify tomorrow (Thursday) before a subcommittee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on “A Shared Responsibility: Counternarcotics and Citizen Security in the Americas,” while another Obama administration official is going to be noticeably absent.

Looks like the Gunrunner case has a nickname

‘Bordergate’ – Seattle’s gunrunning case: Shades of ‘Project gunrunner?’

Tuesday morning’s Seattle PI.com carries the story of Richard Wayne Wilson, who is linked – but not with criminal charges – to the takedown of a string of “speakeasy” clubs, and who, it is reported, was responsible for smuggling a small number of guns to Mexico.

Take Action to Stop Pending Gun Ban

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is seeking public comment on their recent “study” on the importability of certain shotguns. It is critical that rights supporters express their objections to this “study” and its pending implementation in no uncertain terms. A strong showing of opposition can help to stiffen the spines of members of Congress and a poor showing will absolutely be pointed to as proof that people support expanded importation bans.

We Are All Badgers Now

The epic battle that seized Wisconsin, and gripped America, over powers for public sector union bosses has ended. But its consequences will extend far beyond the Badger State. The Republicans in Madison fought a battle on behalf of all freedom-loving Americans. Gun owners had a dog in that fight as did all others who want to take back their government from the Ruling Class.

Project Gunrunner: "Who knew what and when?"

How high up does ‘Project Gunrunner’ go? (Who knew what and when?)

The Project Gunrunner scandal took another step up the government food chain with last night’s disclosure in a CBS News interview with a former senior official with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that the operation was approved by someone in the Department of Justice “even higher than ATF Director Kenneth Melson.”

Followup on WSP gun info request

Lawmakers riled up over WSP gun probe, but questions remain

Yesterday’s mea culpa from the Washington State Patrol to Evergreen State gun dealers who were alarmed by a letter asking for details on every AR-15 transaction they’ve conducted since last July 1 was not enough to stop a tidal wave of media attention, or satisfy three dozen state legislators who wonder just what WSP is up to.
