25 April, 2012: Naw Kham, a Burmese drug lord, is arrested in Burma. He will later be extradited to China.
15 May, 2012: News reports about a Mexican airplane crash in Ecuador that killed all aboard reveal that the plane was carrying anywhere from $1.3 million to $4 million in cash, and that a drug lab was located nearby.
4 June, 2012: The US Coast Guard, working with Colombian forces, seized $2 million worth of cocaine.
5 June, 2012: A joint ISAF–Afghan force captured 990 pounds of opium.
