Protestors in Greece attacked police in the latest round of violent protests against austerity measures passed in the wake of a financial crisis.

The 60,000 protestors, who were throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails, marched on the Greek Parliament. In addition, a report from TheBlaze.com indicated over 100 flights had been cancelled during a general strike.

Greek police responded with tear gas and smoke bombs. Pictures and videos posted at TheBlaze.com showed a pitched battle.

Five people were injured and an unknown number were arrested.
