Three Wounded in Tripoli Bombing
By Harold Hutchison

Three people were wounded when a car bomb went off outside the French embassy in Tripoli. It comes less than eight months after the American consulate in Benghazi was attacked, leaving four Americans dead.

French President Francois Hollande declared the bombing an attack on all countries targeting terrorism, adding, “France expects the Libyan authorities to shed the fullest light on this unacceptable act, so that the perpetrators are identified and brought to justice.”

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is being sent to Tripoli to bring home two wounded French guards, and to assess the situation. Libya has been chaotic since long-time dictator Muammar Gadhafi was deposed and killed.
