FORGET HOOTERS, NOW THERE'S SHOOTERS!
Rifle, Colorado Restaurant Brings the Heat!
By Harold Hutchison
Rifle is a not very well known sleepy little town in Colorado reminiscent of the good old wild wests. But one gutsy restaurant owner may change that.
A decision by the owner of a new restaurant to exercise her Second Amendment rights for her own personal protection has now become a calling card for the now-thriving business.
According to a report by FoxNews.com, Lauren Boebert opened the restaurant a year ago. Colorado allows open carry, and she began to exercise her Second Amendment rights for personal protection. It was not without reason.
“I started open-carrying maybe a month after we opened just because I am a woman in business and I was there early hours and late nights," Boebert told FoxNews.com. "There was a man beaten to death in the alley behind my restaurant last year.”
The waitresses also began carrying. Boebert insisted that they take extra training.
