Two F/A-18 Collide Near Guam

One pilot has been injured and another is still missing after two F/A-18C Hornets collided near Guam. The planes were assigned to the carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).

According to media reports, one of the F/A-18Cs was with Strike Fighter Squadron 94 (VFA-94), the “Mighty Shrikes,” while the other was with Strike Fighter Squadron 113 (VFA-113), the “Stingers.” Both squadrons are with Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW-17).
