A number of activists were freed in Zimbabwe as dictator Robert Mugabe went to Asia on what reports described as a "medical trip."
Mugabe's trip to Singapore had touched off speculation about the octogenarian's health. The dictator has ruled Zimbabwe since 1980.
The activists were freed after a court ruled that the Mugabe regime had failed to prove charges that the activists had been plotting an Egypt-style uprising.
Mugabe returned to Zimbabwe yesterday.
