Halts American Deployments as Russia Continues Buildup
By Harold Hutchison

Barack Obama is continually delaying deployment of missile defenses for American allies in Europe due to Russian objections, even as Russia is deploying its own missile defenses. PROLOGUE OF SOF FOUNDER ROBERT BROWN'S MEMOIRS!

Most of the artillery explosions and white-hot arcs of large-caliber tracer bullets were a few kilometers behind us on the Sarajevo skyline. We had been cramped in the truck bed for hours that seemed like days, stuck in the suburbs of the city. We were miserably bound
in flak jackets, in a sandbagged truck bed and were numb to the much closer AK-47 fire.

Valuable Knowledge for All Armed Citizens
By Harold Hutchison

Many gun owners work hard to protect the right to keep and bear arms for the express purpose of being able to protect themselves and their families in a shootout. But what really goes on in situations where deadly force has to be used? How does one avoid facing what George Zimmerman is facing – surviving the lethal encounter, but now facing a loss of freedom?

Major Shift Comes as Obama Claims “Red Line” was Crossed
By Harold Hutchison

The Obama Administration has announced it will start providing “military support” for Syrian rebels through the Supreme Military Council. The decision marks a major policy shift by the Obama Administration, which claims that the Assad regime has used chemical weapons, crossing the “red line” that would trigger further consequences.

According to some reports, the Obama Administration hasn’t decided whether or not it will create a “no-fly” zone over Syria.

By Harold Hutchison

The Internal Revenue Service harassed Tea Party and other conservative and libertarian groups going back as early as June 2009. The harassment campaign lead as many as 63% of the groups who had applied for 501(c)4 status to pull their applications, hampering the Tea Party’s ability to mobilize conservative voters in the 2012 election, which Barack Obama won narrowly.

By Harold Hutchison

POW/MIA advocates believe that a film that will be shown – claiming an American missing in action from the Vietnam War is alive and well in Vietnam – has fallen for a hoax. According to the film Unclaimed, Master Sergeant John Hartley Robertson of the United States Army has been living in Vietnam for over four decades. Military records indicated that Master Sgt. Robertson was among five people killed when a CH-34 helicopter was shot down on 20 May, 1968.

KEEPING SOMALI PIRATES AWAY FROM A FLOATING BOMB

(From the May 2013 Issue)
By Ike V. Montgomery

A yellow dot enters the dark, round field of a radar screen. Its appearance does not go unnoticed in the wheelhouse of the hijacked, commercial fishing boat—now a pirate “mother ship.” The Somali leader of the “pirate attack group” (NATO’s term for an operational raider unit) studies the screen. After a few minutes, he orders the boat’s hostage crewmen to steer an intercept course with the unidentified ship, still a few dozen nautical miles away on the Indian Ocean.

Start of a UN Gun Grab?
By Harold Hutchison

After negotiations to build a consensus failed, the UN General Assembly rammed through the Arms Trade Treaty by a vote of 154 to 3, with 23 abstentions. The only three “no” votes were Syria, Iran, and North Korea.

The Obama Administration abandoned its insistence upon consensus late Thursday, paving the way for the General Assembly to ram through the treaty.
